Software Engineer Intern (Remote)

Role overview A 12-week paid software engineering internship on a fast-paced product team building security-focused software. Interns collaborate with engineers to design, ship, and refine functionality within an agile environment. The program runs from late January through mid-April and combines real engineering work with structured professional development, mentoring, and exposure to senior leadership.

Responsibilities - Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code as part of an agile engineering team - Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems and services - Contribute to software documentation and participate in peer code reviews - Deliver features using the team's software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies - Take part in professional development workshops, executive Q&A sessions, mentoring, and team-building events

Requirements - Working proficiency in the Python programming language - Working proficiency in writing SQL - Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile practices - Current Junior or Senior standing in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering (or equivalent)
