Manager, Professional Services

Role overview

Lead professional services project teams delivering customer engagements, with responsibility for delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. You’ll coach team members, coordinate with technical and finance partners, and handle escalations while representing the services organization in customer-facing work.

Responsibilities

- Direct project teams and monitor delivery progress, customer experience, and alignment with business objectives. - Build effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support collaboration and clear decisions. - Coach and mentor team members, reinforcing accountability, ownership, and timely follow-through. - Act as the escalation contact, helping teams resolve issues and determine next steps. - Coordinate technical training and enablement for the services team. - Work with finance on project metrics, forecasting, and reporting; review projects and conduct root-cause analyses and retrospectives to identify improvements.

Requirements

- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Technical, managed services, or software consulting experience, with corresponding leadership experience. - Ability to manage multiple teams, allocate resources, and improve performance in line with organizational goals. - Strong reporting skills using Excel or other business intelligence software, and experience with professional services automation or related software. - Sound judgment, organization, and business problem-solving skills. - Confident, consultative communication with customers and technical, nontechnical, and executive audiences.
