Staff Payments Engineer (PRX)

Role overview Develop payment routing and settlement services that work across multiple processors and payment rails. The role focuses on coordinating payment flows, improving resilience, and making transaction operations easier to monitor.

Responsibilities - Design routing, failover, and reconciliation logic for environments with multiple processors. - Integrate card payments, ACH, real-time payment networks, and alternative rails under consistent controls. - Improve payment reliability, processing latency, and operational visibility. - Support payment and settlement flows from authorization through reconciliation.

Requirements - 7+ years of payments infrastructure experience. - Hands-on experience integrating payment service providers or acquirers. - Experience with settlement lifecycles. - Strong understanding of authorization, capture, refunds, disputes, and reconciliation.
