Staff Backend Engineer (AGX Runtime)

Role overview Build backend runtime services that turn agent requests into governed commerce transactions with predictable, auditable execution. As a staff-level engineer, you will own key orchestration and policy controls, while shaping resilient transaction APIs and partnering with risk and compliance.

Responsibilities - Own core services for orchestration, idempotency, and policy-gated execution. - Design resilient APIs for high-throughput transaction flows and signed event trails. - Work with risk and compliance partners to implement runtime controls in production. - Support reliable operations through observability, incident response, and performance tuning.

Requirements - At least 8 years building and operating backend services in production. - Strong distributed systems experience using TypeScript, Go, or Java. - Practical experience with observability, incident response, and performance optimization.
