Job details
About this role
Role overview Senior Product Manager role focused on launching and scaling brand-new consumer products from zero to one within a profitable, late-stage tech company. The position carries true ownership of a new product bet, taking it from early concept or initial launch through product-market fit and into scaled growth. Work spans multiple emerging verticals that extend a core consumer marketplace into adjacent areas with their own regulatory and operational complexity.
Responsibilities - Take ownership of a new product area, choosing the focus based on experience, interests, and business priorities at start. - Rapidly ramp up on an unfamiliar domain, synthesizing quantitative data and qualitative research into clear priorities. - Build, ship, and iterate on consumer-facing products using fast customer feedback loops and disciplined experimentation. - Drive execution from early concept or early launch through finding product-market fit and scaling the offering. - Contribute meaningfully to the broader product roadmap by identifying highest-leverage opportunities across the portfolio. - Operate as a hands-on owner, stepping outside the immediate scope when something needs fixing.
Requirements - 5+ years of experience in management consulting (top-tier firm or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or a comparable role at a high-growth startup. - Demonstrated consumer product instincts, whether through direct building experience or close collaboration with consumer product teams. - Strong comfort with data, including the ability to run independent analyses and build conviction from messy or incomplete signals. - A first-principles mindset: pausing to clarify the problem before reaching for a solution. - Empathy and curiosity about customer motivations, behaviors, and pain points. - A diligent, ownership-oriented work style with consistent follow-through.
Benefits and work setup - Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage. - Paid time off and paid parental leave. - 401(k) plan with employer matching, plus additional wellness benefits. - Equity grant opportunities as part of total compensation. - Remote-first culture, with flexibility for in-person or hybrid work for those who prefer it. - Base salary determined by job-related factors, with potential for equity grants; part-time or contract roles may not be eligible for the full benefits package.
