Role overview
This remote, full-time Implementation Specialist position supports mid-sized school districts in Pennsylvania by guiding them through a structured adoption journey for an educational technology platform. The role blends instructional coaching, professional development delivery, and consultative partnership to help districts move from initial rollout to consistent, data-informed classroom use. Candidates must reside in the Pittsburgh area and be willing to travel regionally throughout the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Partner with district leaders to coordinate implementation work for mid-sized school systems - Design and execute professional development plans aligned to district priorities and goals - Travel to assigned districts to facilitate in-person training and conduct quarterly site visits, with heavier travel during back-to-school seasons - Lead engaging live and virtual professional development sessions for teachers and administrators - Analyze usage and outcome data to inform strategy and recommend next steps - Collaborate with sales counterparts to grow customer relationships and support pilot programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree - At least five years of K-12 classroom teaching experience; instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech professional development background strongly preferred - Minimum two years of experience delivering professional development to educators - Hands-on experience supporting district-level implementations preferred - Confident presentation style with the ability to engage both teacher and administrator audiences - Highly organized, methodical approach with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects from start to finish - Residence near a major regional airport to support frequent regional travel
