Responsibilities - Assess production lines, document station needs, and plan camera placement and deployment. - Coordinate with customer IT, cybersecurity, controls, and facilities teams on network access and installation readiness. - Install and commission equipment, check camera coverage, connect PLC signals, and configure applications for each process. - Validate data and lead acceptance testing with customer engineering teams. - Train users and administrators, prepare documentation, and guide go-live readiness. - Manage project plans and customer updates, resolve or escalate issues, and share product feedback with internal teams.

Requirements - Experience leading customer-facing hardware and software implementations in a field, applications, solutions, controls, or manufacturing engineering role. - Experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive or Tier 1 assembly experience is particularly relevant. - Working familiarity with industrial networking and hardware, including IP addressing, switches, PoE, Linux basics, and remote access. - Familiarity with PLCs and line data, or ability to learn these quickly. - Strong analytical, communication, and project ownership skills, including explaining findings to plant operators, engineers, and leaders. - Ability to travel regularly for multi-day site deployments and training; a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have - Spanish or other language skills, experience with international travel, or a valid passport. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing, standard work, time studies, ergonomics, or continuous improvement. - Experience with computer vision, cameras, industrial IoT, Python or similar scripting, Git, or AI tools.

Benefits and work setup - Remote role open to candidates in the US, Latin America, and Europe; proximity to a major airport is preferred. - Regular customer-site travel is expected, typically 20–40% of the time, including deployments of about a week. Work takes place in active production areas with site PPE and safety requirements. - Compensation includes pay based on experience and a bonus tied to individual and company achievement.
