Azure CloudOps Engineer

Role overview This is a senior-level cloud operations role centered on Infrastructure as Code, Azure, and platform reliability. The position blends hands-on engineering with mentorship, security, and collaboration with development teams to ship and operate production systems at scale.

Responsibilities - Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources. - Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure and application deployments. - Operate cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, App Services, AKS, databases, and networking components. - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using third-party tooling such as Datadog. - Establish infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards. - Mentor junior engineers and partner with development teams on troubleshooting, capacity planning, and architecture decisions.

Requirements - Professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering. - Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience in production. - Production experience with Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud platforms. - Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. - Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, for example with GitHub Actions or similar tools. - Solid understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

Nice to have - Multi-cloud experience spanning both Azure and AWS. - Background mentoring engineers and shaping broader DevOps practice across an organization.
