Senior Frontend Engineer, Console
Job details
About this role
Role overview A senior frontend role building the operator-facing console where platform teams manage provider connections, gateway keys, routes, budgets, request traces, cost breakdowns, members, and billing. The application is a Next.js static export talking to a gateway API, layered on a shared design system with light and dark themes, and the work calls for dense, data-heavy interfaces that stay legible under pressure.
Responsibilities - Ship console features end to end alongside the gateway team, from API contract through finished screen. - Build data-dense views including tables, traces, charts, and URL-driven filters that remain readable. - Extend and maintain the shared design system, covering accessibility, both themes, and every control state. - Own frontend quality, including responsive layouts, keyboard support, and automated checks for clipped or unreadable UI.
Requirements - Five or more years building production web applications with strong React and TypeScript. - Experience managing complex application state, data fetching, and URL-driven UI patterns. - A careful eye for layout, typography, and interaction detail, validated in a real browser. - Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and how to test for them.
Nice to have - Next.js App Router and static export workflows. - Tailwind CSS and design-token-based theming. - Background building developer tools, observability products, or admin consoles.
