Software Engineer, Front-End, Europe

Role overview A front-end engineering role focused on building the user-facing interfaces for autonomous AI systems operating in regulated enterprise environments. The position centers on translating complex AI workflows into intuitive, high-performance product surfaces, including conversational user interfaces (CUI), agent dashboards, and data visualisation tooling. Responsibilities - Develop performant, accessible interfaces that surface AI-powered tools for enterprise users - Build conversational UI patterns, agent dashboards, and visualisation components that communicate model outputs clearly - Partner closely with design, backend, and machine learning teams to move product ideas from concept to shipped code - Create modular, reusable components grounded in a shared design system and accessibility standards - Tune rendering performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices - Iterate on UX using testing, user feedback, and usage analytics

Requirements - Seven or more years of front-end development experience, ideally on SaaS or AI-driven products - Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - Hands-on experience with design systems such as Storybook, Figma handoff workflows, Tailwind, or comparable tooling - Sharp product and design instincts, with care for polish, micro-detail, and usability - Solid grasp of component-driven development and modern front-end build/test tooling - Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced setting

Nice to have - Prior work on interfaces for AI or data-intensive applications - Experience with real-time systems or dynamic visualisations such as charts and streaming data - Background in startup or fast-moving product environments - Familiarity with CUI, voice, or chat-based interaction patterns - Ability to step into backend API work when needed
