Sr. Software Engineer

Role overview Develop and improve commercial supply chain software as part of an Agile team. Responsibilities - Design and build product features independently and with the wider squad. - Deliver software enhancements and bug fixes to agreed timelines and quality standards. - Promote sound coding, development, and team practices. - Mentor junior developers on technologies, products, design patterns, processes, and coding standards. - Participate in Agile activities and share useful technical information across the team. - Identify opportunities to improve development methods and evaluate relevant tools or technologies.

Requirements - At least five years of professional software development experience, including substantial experience with C# and .NET. - Track record of delivering high-quality commercial software. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. - Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, ASP.NET, relational databases, and SQL. - Experience building and consuming HTTP/REST APIs, and working with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, or TypeScript. - Strong communication, accountability, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have - Experience with .NET Core or .NET 6+, Entity Framework, Azure DevOps, Git, or NPM.
