Senior Software Engineer

Role overview

Join an integrations engineering team building and maintaining software that connects a warehouse-management platform with enterprise resource-planning systems, carrier services, and trading partners. The work spans feature development, defect resolution, integration architecture, technical leadership, and production-quality delivery in an Agile environment. This is a remote position available to candidates based in Mexico or Brazil.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain integration services connecting warehouse systems with ERP platforms, carriers, and external partners. - Independently deliver enhancements and bug fixes while meeting agreed expectations for velocity, quality, and estimation accuracy. - Guide squad-level code quality, engineering practices, architecture improvements, and production-readiness decisions. - Investigate distributed-system issues and improve reliability, error handling, development methods, and integration patterns. - Mentor junior developers on technologies, design patterns, coding practices, products, and team processes. - Communicate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders; clarify requirements and create technical documentation, demonstrations, and concise written updates.

Requirements

- At least 5 years of professional C# and .NET development experience, including strong knowledge of .NET Framework 4.8. - At least 2 years working in an Agile software-development environment. - Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, REST/OData APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, WCF, MSSQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, and complex queries. - Experience with NHibernate, EDI document processing, JSON/XML transformation, distributed-system debugging, Git, and Azure DevOps workflows. - Proven delivery of high-quality commercial software and ability to explain significant technical problems and their solutions. - Experience mentoring or guiding less-experienced engineers. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, ERP integration, enterprise middleware, carrier APIs, message queues, event-driven systems, multi-tenant SaaS, cloud environments, CI/CD automation, OAuth 2.0, AWS integration services, or maintaining legacy codebases. Familiarity with ERP APIs and warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory is also useful.
