AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer

Role overview This position calls for an engineer who treats AI-native coding as the default rather than an experiment, working inside a studio that has built its delivery model around agentic tooling. The work centers on shipping full-stack features for regulated products where a wrong value carries real-world consequences, not just a failing test. The expectation is to direct an AI agent through the heavy lifting, stay close enough to the output to catch subtle bugs, and step back in when judgment matters most.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and ship full-stack features across Next.js front-ends and Node.js back-ends, owning each piece from initial spec through production deployment. - Treat AI tooling as the primary vehicle for writing, iterating, and testing code, integrating it into the daily workflow rather than treating it as an add-on. - Run agentic coding loops with enough discipline to trust it where it earns trust and reclaim the keyboard where it does not. - Deliver features inside regulated domains where correctness is non-negotiable and edge cases have tangible impact on users. - Partner closely with product leads and, when needed, clients to turn rough requirements into working software.

Requirements - Two or more years of production full-stack experience with TypeScript as the default across both front-end and back-end work. - A track record of weaving AI into everyday engineering practice, with formed opinions about where it genuinely helps and where it misleads. - Comfort with React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js on the back end, and the data patterns that bridge the two. - The discipline to review AI-generated output with the same rigor applied to a junior's pull request. - Strong written English suited to a distributed team that designs and debugs largely in text.

Nice to have - Background in a regulated domain such as fintech or healthtech, where edge cases translate into real-world problems. - Hands-on use of Claude Code, Cursor, or a comparable agentic tool on a non-trivial codebase, not just demos or tutorials. - Contributions to agent tooling, prompts, or workflows rather than only consuming them.
