Role overview
A full-stack .NET developer role on a team modernizing a Financial Management System that powers payment generation and claims funding for a third-party administrator of self-funded medical, dental, FSA, and HRA plans. The work blends backend service development, data-layer optimization, and front-end feature delivery in a domain that sits at the intersection of healthcare benefits administration and financial automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship new functionality and improvements across the proprietary Financial Management System - Build and evolve backend services using .NET Core, Web API, and C# - Develop user-facing components with Angular, HTML, and CSS - Analyze, refactor, and tune stored procedures and SQL Server data models - Contribute to automation initiatives that streamline financial sub-processes and claims funding workflows - Support vendor and external system integrations inside an Agile/Scrum delivery model
Requirements
- At least one year of professional .NET development experience - Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Web API - Solid working knowledge of MS SQL Server, including writing and modifying stored procedures - Understanding of relational database modeling concepts - Comfort working across both backend services and the presentation tier, with strong analytical thinking - Experience operating in Agile or Scrum teams and B2-level English or higher
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript - Familiarity with Entity Framework Core - Exposure to .NET WebForms or Visual Basic
