Role overview A part-time, hands-on engineering internship designed for a current computer science student or self-taught developer who wants to ship production code rather than perform busywork. The role focuses on contributing to internal tools, customer-facing portals, and AI-enabled systems within an AI-forward engineering culture that uses modern web technologies daily.
Responsibilities - Test and quality-assure client portals by identifying bugs, documenting issues, and shipping fixes - Complete partially built websites, moving them from roughly 80% finished to fully launched - Build internal dashboards that track proposals, leads, and operational metrics - Write backend code including database queries, API integrations, and automation scripts - Help integrate AI features and workflows into existing products and internal systems
Requirements - Currently studying computer science, IT, or a related field, or self-taught with a portfolio of work - Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Experience with React or Next.js, including personal or coursework projects - Regular hands-on use of AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude - Comfortable working independently with minimal direct supervision
Nice to have - Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Supabase, or Firebase - Comfort with Git and GitHub collaboration workflows - Interest in marketing technology or early-stage companies - Prior internship or freelance development experience - Exposure to cloud platforms like Vercel, AWS, or Google Cloud
