About this role
Role overview Provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of scalable identity and access management software. The work spans application layers, from APIs and services to directory capabilities, with a focus on secure authentication and authorization. The lead partners across engineering teams, resolves complex integration issues, and mentors engineers while shaping technical direction.
Responsibilities - Lead design, development, testing, integration, and implementation of enterprise IAM solutions. - Build and support authentication, authorization, single sign-on, federation, and directory services. - Develop scalable applications, APIs, and microservices and help ensure they meet performance and security needs. - Mentor engineers and provide technical direction to delivery teams. - Contribute to architecture decisions, engineering practices, and technical strategy. - Diagnose and resolve challenging software and integration problems.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. - At least 7 years of experience with IAM, authentication, authorization, SSO, federation, and directory services. - At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the ForgeRock Identity Platform, including IAM, identity management, and directory services. - At least 5 years leading engineering teams or complex technology initiatives. - Experience with Java, Python, REST APIs, LDAP, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, microservices, and cloud platforms.
Nice to have - A master’s degree in a related field.
