Remote job
Head of Product Analytics - 100% Remote - EMEA
Job details
About this role
Role overview First product analytics leader for a profitable, AI-first SaaS company serving short-term rental operators. Sets the measurement standard end to end, defines how product decisions are evaluated, and builds the function rather than inheriting it, while remaining hands-on with SQL and analysis in a remote role based in EMEA.
Responsibilities - Define what counts as an active, adopting customer and how every analysis is segmented, raising the bar for product measurement across the organization. - Embed measurement early in planning so every product requirements document includes sizing, expected metric impact, and a measurement plan. - Design measurement approaches for products where clean A/B tests are not feasible, and rethink what activity metrics mean in an AI-native product. - Bring numbers to investment decisions and grow metrics fluency so product managers can present and defend their own analyses. - Set technical standards for tracking plans, instrumentation specs, and data quality, and build the function starting with an experienced product analyst. - Stay close to the work by writing SQL, building analyses, and mentoring rather than only managing.
Requirements - 8+ years in product analytics, ideally within B2B SaaS at a scaling stage, with a strong track record of building rather than running the function. - Strong data foundations: designing clean, reliable data models with Data Engineering and setting up consistent event tracking across features and domains; SQLMesh experience is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, including successfully challenging a senior leader on a number with evidence that was still in use months later. - Experience moving an organization from gut feel to data-led decisions and helping product managers find what fits a company of a given size. - Comfort designing fair comparisons in complex B2B products and being explicit about what a number does and does not prove. - Heavy use of AI tools in own work and an understanding of where they help and where they mislead.
Nice to have - Measuring AI features, automated workflows, or API usage. - Product-led growth, churn modeling, or platform businesses with multiple user types.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote within the EMEA region, with international team culture spanning more than 40 countries. - Country-specific benefits such as health insurance and pensions where customary, with the specifics dependent on the applicant's country.
