Senior Engineer, Full Stack - Pentest Experience

Role overview Build customer-facing software that helps organizations understand, prioritize, and act on security risks. This senior full-stack role owns substantial product work from definition through rollout, with an emphasis on backend services and APIs—approximately 80% of the work—alongside modern web application development.

Responsibilities - Develop product capabilities across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces. - Own medium-to-large projects through scoping, technical design, implementation, rollout, and iteration. - Build clear, maintainable, performant user experiences aligned with product and design needs. - Coordinate with product, design, and engineering partners on cross-team initiatives. - Identify risks, blockers, and scope issues early; explain technical choices and delivery tradeoffs to varied audiences. - Contribute to architecture, testing, technical documentation, code reviews, and ongoing engineering improvements. - Support teammates through mentoring, onboarding, and collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements - Professional experience building and operating production software across backend and frontend systems. - Backend development experience in a modern language such as Go, Rust, Python, Java, or TypeScript. - Frontend application experience with a framework such as React or Angular. - Strong understanding of APIs, service-oriented architecture, data modeling, and scalability tradeoffs. - Ability to drive substantial work independently from an ambiguous problem through delivery, coordinating with partners along the way. - Clear written and verbal communication and sound technical judgment.
