IT Administrator, Business Applications

Role overview Administer the collaboration, service management, and workflow tools used across a multi-team organization. This individual contributor role handles day-to-day platform access and configuration, delivers moderately complex improvements with limited direction, and helps teams reduce manual work while maintaining secure, auditable processes.

Responsibilities - Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning, groups, permissions, and licenses across Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Loom. - Respond to cross-functional requests involving access, platform configuration, and troubleshooting. - Configure projects, workflows, screens, fields, and automation rules; set up service request types, queues, forms, and service-level targets. - Use ticket and service-level performance information to improve service workflows. - Take improvements from requirements gathering through implementation, rollout, and documentation. - Monitor automation runs, investigate failures, and resolve or escalate issues with useful diagnostic information. - Support citizen developers with onboarding, sandbox and service account access, approved templates, and guardrails. - Apply least-privilege access, review platform permissions and license use, automate repetitive administration, and maintain runbooks and platform health reporting.

Requirements - Hands-on administration of Jira and Confluence, or comparable work management or IT service platforms, in a multi-team organization. - Experience configuring non-default workflows, custom fields, and automation, including service-level targets or equivalent. - Working knowledge of role-based access control, least privilege, permissions, and SaaS user lifecycle management. - Experience handling a service or request queue and resolving access and configuration issues. - Ability to deliver scoped platform improvements, document decisions, and work with limited direction. - Clear communication and a service-oriented approach to cross-functional support.
