Role overview This position calls for a senior software engineer to design and deliver AI-driven applications on a major enterprise platform. The work spans machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics features embedded into service management modules used by large organizations. The role blends hands-on coding with client-facing discovery, integration work, and ongoing operational support.
Responsibilities - Gather requirements from end users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to scope AI-enabled solutions. - Design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications and workflows on the platform, including NLP, machine learning, and predictive analytics integrations. - Develop across the full application lifecycle, covering design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. - Configure integrations between the platform and other systems using REST and SOAP web services, handling bidirectional data flows. - Implement and validate impact assessment rules, service maps, and event management configurations in collaboration with technical SMEs. - Promote update sets across environments, participate in user acceptance testing, and remediate production incidents tied to this scope.
Requirements - 3+ years of experience implementing, administering, configuring, or developing on the ServiceNow platform across two or more capabilities such as ITSM or ITOM. - Hands-on experience with AI and automation capabilities including Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, and Now Assist features such as case summarization and conversational workflows. - Experience with integrations via mid servers and cloud-to-cloud patterns, REST and SOAP web services, and ETL or data extraction technologies like JDBC and ODBC. - Practical experience implementing CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management, Service Catalog, and workflows. - Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, and Scripted REST APIs. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field.
Nice to have - ITIL Foundation certification. - ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications. - Willingness to pursue ongoing platform competency and module accreditation certifications.
