Role overview
Define and lead the finance organization’s AI transformation, from identifying valuable use cases to deploying and scaling solutions on governed data. The role combines portfolio strategy, delivery oversight, risk controls, and redesign of finance processes so that AI and automation produce measurable improvements while human leaders retain accountability for decisions.
Responsibilities
- Set a multi-year finance AI strategy and manage the use case portfolio, including intake, business cases, prioritization, and progression from pilot to production. - Partner with technology, data management, and architecture teams to use approved platforms and governed data; assess vendors and build-versus-buy choices. - Establish operating controls for validation, evidence, monitoring, and the appropriate division between AI assistance and human judgment. - Ensure unvalidated AI outputs are not used in financial reporting, forecasts, or executive communications; track adoption, quality, cycle time, value, and risk. - Redesign close and accounting, planning and forecasting, reporting, analysis, and finance operations through AI and automation. - Build finance teams’ AI capability through training and practical guidance, and work with business units to embed changes and realize benefits.
Requirements
- Seven years of experience in finance, consulting, digital transformation, or AI-enabled initiatives. - Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information technology, or a related area; relevant experience or education may be accepted in place of the degree. - Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in complex, matrixed organizations. - Strong business judgment and ability to connect analytical and AI-enabled work to organizational outcomes. - Proven record of driving cross-functional initiatives, resolving systemic issues, and building effective partnerships.

The position may be office-based or remote, and requires frequent presence at a physical work site. Travel is listed as 0–25%. The posted base salary range is $156,200–$259,600, with actual pay depending on qualifications, experience, contribution expectations, and market factors.
