Role overview
This is an early-stage founding engineering position on a small team, with the chance to own meaningful portions of the product end to end. The work spans user interface, services, and AI-powered capabilities, with a strong emphasis on shipping production-grade software that keeps humans in control of high-stakes decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features across the product suite - Translate customer problems into working software, from early prototype through production - Develop AI-driven features that preserve human authority over high-risk decisions - Uphold and raise standards for code quality, testing, security, and reliability - Contribute to engineering practices and help mentor teammates as the group grows
Requirements
- Substantial experience building and operating production web applications - Working comfort across front end, back end, and either cloud or on-premise deployment - Hands-on experience building features with modern AI models - An ownership mindset and clear written communication suited to remote, asynchronous work
