Role overview

This Developer Relations role owns the public community for a platform that helps businesses build AI-powered applications and websites, blending hands-on technical support with creative content production and product insight. The position sits within the Growth & Marketing function and is open to remote candidates across North America, Western Europe, and Eastern Australia, with a strong in-office preference at a San Francisco headquarters. It is a full-time opportunity for someone who treats community building, technical advocacy, and product feedback as a single discipline.

Responsibilities

- Manage, support, and grow the public community forum, serving as the visible point of contact for builders using the platform - Create high-quality short- and long-form content across blogs, videos, demos, and talks in whichever medium you do best - Provide hands-on technical help, including debugging common issues, suggesting architecture guidance, and joining calls to unblock users - Run community programs such as ambassador initiatives, recognition rewards, office hours, AMAs, and hackathons - Triage, categorize, and summarize recurring user feedback into themes that inform roadmap decisions, and ship lightweight fixes when needed

Requirements

- Strong TypeScript skills with the ability to read, debug, and advise on real application code - Solid AI skills including prompting, agent workflow design, and debugging unexpected model behavior - Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence giving demos and public talks - A high-energy, creative approach grounded in a community-first mindset - Prior experience running or scaling an online developer community

Nice to have

- A track record of turning qualitative user feedback into shipped product improvements - Experience producing developer-facing educational content in multiple formats
