An early-career software development position within a consulting practice focused on financial and practice management technology platforms. The role supports the customization, integration, and maintenance of enterprise legal technology solutions while working alongside senior developers, consultants, project managers, and business analysts. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, customizing, testing, and supporting solutions on financial management platforms and adjacent legal technology products. - Help build and maintain workflows, integrations, and automation using REST APIs, XML, JSON, and related data exchange tools. - Write, test, and debug code under senior developer guidance, including support for application deployments and software updates. - Document technical requirements, designs, and implementation details for internal teams and client stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews, follow established development standards, and use Git or similar version control systems. - Collaborate on client-facing project activities including requirements gathering, meetings, and status updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. - 0-2 years of software development experience, with internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects considered. - Exposure to object-oriented programming and Microsoft development technologies. - Familiarity with APIs, web services, or integration concepts. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail. - Willingness to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment; occasional travel may be required.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework or .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, XML, Git, and Power Automate. - Exposure to legal technology platforms such as Elite 3E, basic reporting tools, cloud technologies, and software testing methodologies.
