Associate Security Engineer - AD/Entra ID (Remote in the US)

Role overview Help assess, design, secure, and support identity environments built on Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID. The role spans technical planning and hands-on infrastructure work, including identity architecture, remediation, operational support, and incident troubleshooting. You will collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to turn business needs into reliable, secure identity solutions.

Responsibilities - Contribute to technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps for AD and Entra ID environments. - Maintain and improve on-premises Active Directory, including DNS, Group Policy, and domain controllers. - Apply IAM policies, standards, and security practices that support regulatory and industry requirements. - Advise project and operations teams on identity architecture, technical risks, and infrastructure decisions. - Troubleshoot complex security and infrastructure issues, support incident resolution, and escalate when needed. - Identify improvements to identity security architecture and evaluate emerging tools and practices.

Requirements - At least two years of experience with Active Directory architecture and infrastructure, including replication, DNS, site topology, Group Policy, and Global Catalogs. - At least two years of experience with IAM processes and technologies. - Experience designing and implementing IAM solutions in complex environments. - Enterprise or Domain Admin and/or Azure Global Admin responsibilities. - Experience managing enterprise Active Directory 2016, 2019, or 2022. - Strong PowerShell skills and clear communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have - CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate certification. - Interest in using AI tools and other emerging technologies to improve day-to-day work.
