Senior Project Manager

Role overview Own the delivery of complex technology and managed services projects for enterprise customers, from early solution discussions through operational handover. The work spans project governance, budgets, risks, customer communication, and coordination across internal teams and external partners, with responsibility for improving delivery practices and supporting other project managers.

Responsibilities - Lead projects valued at $5 million and above, typically managing up to three concurrent engagements depending on their scale and complexity. - Manage the full project lifecycle, including pre-sales involvement, planning, delivery, and operational transition. - Establish project boards and cross-functional teams; serve as the main contact for customer communications and stakeholder engagement. - Maintain scope, initiation documents, status reports, governance records, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and contracted-effort tracking. - Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, escalations, and change control; facilitate timely decisions and resolution. - Contribute to quality reviews, delivery methods, templates, product launches, and team knowledge sharing; mentor junior colleagues and support bids.

Requirements - Five or more years of project management experience in managed services, enterprise networking, an internet service provider, or a related ICT environment. - Record of delivering large, complex customer programmes with multiple teams and stakeholders. - Experience managing budgets of $5 million or more, including forecasting, cost tracking, reporting, and escalation. - Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and change control, plus experience with Microsoft Project and structured methods. - Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and relationship-building skills. - Degree-level education or substantial professional experience in an IT environment; experience mentoring project management colleagues.

Nice to have - Telecommunications, complex business-to-business services, SD-WAN, or security solution experience. - A recognized project management credential such as PRINCE2 Practitioner or APMP, or additional business qualifications.
