Senior .NET Engineer

Role overview A senior backend engineering position centered on building and evolving production microservices for an iGaming and entertainment services business. The role spans core domain capabilities such as accounts, authentication, and wallets, with strong expectations around reliability, observability, and shared operational ownership.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain backend services in .NET (C#), evolving production microservices while preserving backward compatibility. - Deliver core domain flows covering accounts, registration, authentication, wallet, and adjacent business capabilities. - Build asynchronous, event-driven integrations using message brokers and improve system design where bottlenecks appear. - Work with relational databases and transactional flows, tuning queries and addressing performance or memory issues. - Strengthen service observability through logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and monitoring. - Manage Kubernetes deployment configurations, operate within a GitOps setup, and collaborate with DevOps on Terraform-based infrastructure changes. - Participate in on-call rotations, handle production incidents, surface technical debt, and conduct thorough code reviews.

Requirements - 5+ years of commercial backend development with C# / .NET (6+) on .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Hands-on experience with asynchronous communication, event-driven architectures, and message brokers such as Kafka. - Strong relational database skills (SQL, transactions, indexing, performance tuning), with PostgreSQL as a plus, plus ORM experience such as Entity Framework. - Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SOLID-style design principles. - Experience with unit and integration testing, production observability, and troubleshooting performance and memory issues. - Upper-Intermediate English; strong communication, multitasking, teamwork, and personal responsibility.

Nice to have - Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. - Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.
