About this role
Role overview A product management role owning a centralised payment hub that serves multiple regions in a transactional entertainment business. The position is accountable for making hub behaviour explicit, running discovery across internal systems, and orchestrating a staged regional migration.
Responsibilities - Make system behaviour explicit, covering callback timeouts, withdrawal hold and release rules, gateway configurations, and player-facing error messages. - Drive optimisation of the seven operational back-office screens used daily by internal teams, from projects and gateways through to transactions and logs. - Lead timeboxed discovery spikes across eleven internal systems, including player accounts, wallet, KYC, fraud, reconciliation, and taxation, prioritising findings by risk. - Define migration rollout stages with validation rules using small live-traffic percentages and historical replays, plus rollback plans. - Keep regional operations, support, and business owners informed and confident about upcoming changes and contingencies. - Build operational processes for incident management, configuration changes, new method onboarding, and ongoing integration health post-launch.
Requirements - 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a payments, fintech, or complex transactional product. - Confidence reading API contracts and independently tracing a transaction across multiple systems. - Demonstrated ability to write requirements with explicit outcomes, acceptance criteria, and defined boundaries. - Data-driven approach using metrics such as conversion, approval rates, failure reasons, and cost per transaction. - Intermediate English or above for documentation, ticketing, and daily communication. - Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward running small experiments to close unknowns quickly.
Nice to have - Strong ownership mindset with transparent, early communication when things go wrong. - Problem-solving style focused on reducing complexity and preventing rework before development starts. - Alignment with values around teamwork, result-driven delivery, and adaptability to change.
