DevOps Engineer (Oracle Cloud)

Role overview Build and operate reliable cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), helping development and QA teams release and run services with confidence. You’ll own infrastructure automation and CI/CD, improve existing environments, and advise on technical choices for problems of moderate complexity. The position is full-time and remote.

Responsibilities - Provision and maintain OCI infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code practices. - Build and support CI/CD pipelines for testing, building, and deploying services. - Operate Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads, with attention to availability and scaling. - Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging with Prometheus and Grafana. - Work with development and QA teams to resolve infrastructure issues and streamline releases. - Improve cost, performance, reliability, documentation, and operational processes.

Requirements - At least three years of hands-on cloud experience, including good knowledge of OCI. - Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code skills. - Linux administration and shell scripting experience. - Strong Docker skills and experience with Kubernetes orchestration. - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using Git-based workflows such as GitOps or GitFlow. - Experience with monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.

Nice to have - Ansible or Python automation experience. - Exposure to AWS or Azure, or familiarity with secrets management and security hardening. - An OCI Architect Associate or comparable cloud certification.
