Staff Fullstack Engineer - Platform - App Core Usage | US | Remote

Role overview As a Staff Fullstack Engineer on a platform usage team, you’ll build and operate services that support billing, pricing, usage calculations, customer visibility, and marketplace workflows. The role combines hands-on backend engineering with frontend contributions, technical leadership, and ownership of systems from application code through deployment and infrastructure. The initial workload is expected to be weighted toward backend development, with the balance shifting as team priorities change.

Responsibilities - Design, implement, and operate backend services and APIs for billing and usage workflows, primarily in Go. - Contribute to TypeScript and React applications to deliver complete features for customers and internal teams. - Improve billing correctness and service reliability through validation, reconciliation, error handling, and recovery. - Replace repetitive manual work with maintainable automation and clear operational processes. - Maintain services and supporting infrastructure, including Kubernetes workloads, scheduled jobs, cloud resources, and deployment configuration. - Lead complex technical work, investigate production issues, and improve systems using operational evidence.

Requirements - Substantial experience designing, delivering, and operating production backend systems, including leading complex work hands-on. - Strong experience with Go and professional experience contributing to frontend applications using TypeScript and React or comparable tools. - Understanding of distributed systems, relational databases, production migrations, and safe changes to live services. - Practical experience deploying and troubleshooting containerized services in Kubernetes, with cloud infrastructure managed through code and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to diagnose production issues using logs, metrics, and traces, then follow through on durable improvements. - Track record of delivering projects end to end and collaborating clearly in a remote, asynchronous team.
