Senior Fullstack Engineer - Grafana Data Source Plugins | NASA | (Remote, Canada)

Role overview Develop and maintain data source plugins that connect external services and databases to dashboarding and observability products. The role combines full-stack plugin development with operational reliability, customer support, and work to connect data sources to AI-assisted workflows. You’ll collaborate remotely with engineering and product partners and use user feedback to inform improvements.

Responsibilities - Build and enhance plugins that integrate third-party services and databases. - Support plugin operations in a hosted cloud environment and improve reliability. - Deliver substantial projects from solution design through implementation and suggest process improvements. - Connect data sources to assistant and agent workflows. - Help resolve technical issues raised through customer escalations. - Work with engineering and product teams to improve user experience and guide the roadmap.

Requirements - Solid experience with Go and TypeScript. - Experience with Kubernetes and microservices. - Ability to produce clean, robust, performant, maintainable software. - Experience with on-call rotations and operational or site reliability engineering tasks. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused approach suited to remote work.

Nice to have - Experience using dashboarding tools and their data source plugins. - Expertise in one of the supported database technologies. - Experience partnering with product managers or external stakeholders.

Benefits and work setup - Remote role for candidates in the United States or Canada; residents of Quebec are excluded. - The listing gives a Canadian base compensation range of CAD $164,490–$197,389. Compensation varies by location and candidate experience; equity and a bonus may also be available. - Annual leave is listed as 30 days, including three company shutdown days, subject to local requirements.
