Product Manager - HIRE

Role overview

This position leads the product strategy, execution, and ongoing improvement of a mission-critical software product used by public safety and emergency communications organizations. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer operations, and compliance, balancing Agile delivery discipline with real-world user feedback and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

- Drive Agile and Scrum execution by maintaining a prioritized backlog, running sprint ceremonies, and keeping delivery velocity predictable. - Build release plans, manage cross-functional dependencies, and surface risks early with clear mitigation options. - Lead customer pilots and implementations, coordinate training, and iterate features based on input from frontline call-takers and operations staff. - Define and instrument product analytics, monitor KPIs such as call-handling time and AI adoption, and adapt the roadmap to measurable outcomes. - Partner with security and infrastructure teams to keep the product compliant with CJIS, SOC 2, and related regulatory frameworks. - Support go-to-market and enablement efforts by contributing product expertise to marketing, sales, support materials, and internal release briefings.

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of experience in product management or closely related product leadership roles. - Demonstrated success owning complex, customer-facing software products from discovery through delivery. - Deep hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and acting as Product Manager. - Proven ability to manage backlogs, lead sprint ceremonies, and maintain predictable delivery cadence. - Track record of running customer implementations, pilots, or phased rollouts in production environments. - Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments such as CJIS, SOC 2, FedRAMP, or HIPAA. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication. - Must pass an FBI fingerprint and multi-state background check.
