Senior Solutions Engineer - UK / IRE

Role overview

This senior pre-sales engineering role partners with sales teams to drive revenue growth through technical demos, discovery, and proof-of-value engagements. The position collaborates with infrastructure, platform, and security teams at sophisticated technology companies, helping them address identity and access challenges across human, machine, and AI workloads. Work spans Zero Trust security, cloud-native infrastructure, and emerging AI infrastructure requirements.

Responsibilities

- Partner with account executives and account managers to expand technical discovery and map platform capabilities to customer initiatives - Architect and deliver demos and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate Zero Trust principles, identity governance, and identity security for human and non-human identities - Act as trusted advisor to engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and security leaders - Advise on protecting sensitive datasets and model endpoints using identity-based controls - Support customers exploring AI and LLM use cases, including secure infrastructure for training and inference workloads - Provide structured feedback to product and engineering on feature gaps and market needs - Contribute to thought leadership, partner enablement, and broader go-to-market activities

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, DevSecOps, or a technical customer-facing role - Hands-on experience configuring, using, and debugging Linux/Unix systems and networks - Strong understanding of Kubernetes, including hands-on troubleshooting - Solid knowledge of at least one major cloud computing platform - Understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and securing infrastructure at scale - Advanced understanding of identity security and modern Zero Trust approaches

Nice to have

- Familiarity with AI and LLM infrastructure, including GPU clusters, data governance, inference workloads, and ML pipelines - Scripting and automation skills using Linux shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code tools - Strong presentation, demo, and whiteboarding abilities - Ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders with credibility
