About this role
Role overview This engineering management role leads the team responsible for building and maintaining AI-powered solutions that enable safe and effective adoption of generative and agentic AI across multiple business units. It is a hands-on technical leadership position that combines architecture guidance for agentic systems with team coaching and end-to-end delivery accountability.
Responsibilities - Lead architecture and delivery for agentic AI products, including plugins, custom skills, agents, evaluation frameworks, and usage analytics - Hire, coach, and grow engineers as priorities and scope evolve - Partner with product, security, compliance, and business unit stakeholders to drive adoption and operational excellence - Define and track KPIs for AI solution adoption, quality, and delivery velocity across multiple teams - Drive CI/CD, observability, and support rigor while managing technical debt and scalability - Set multi-team strategy and roadmap for the AI transformation engineering portfolio
Requirements - 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership or management roles - Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based or agentic AI products, including prompting, evals, agent frameworks, and orchestration patterns such as MCP - Strong cloud-native architecture skills (AWS or equivalent), solid API design, and modern CI/CD practices - Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python - Track record of hiring, coaching, and growing engineers through changing scope - Strong stakeholder management across product, business units, security, and compliance
Nice to have - Experience operating in a regulated environment such as fintech, lending, or payments - Integrating AI or agentic tooling into the software development lifecycle to improve engineering throughput
Benefits and work setup - US-based compensation bands ranging from approximately $169,100 to $235,700 depending on location, with eligibility for bonus and equity on top of base salary
