Role overview A Staff Product Manager owns the vision and roadmap for a merchant partnership and shop network spanning fuel, maintenance, and strategic fleet spend. The role blends business strategy, partner executive relationships, and hands-on technical onboarding to grow in-network transaction share and total payment volume. It also pioneers newer payment technologies and international partnerships to expand spend routed through the company's financial products.
Responsibilities - Set the long-term vision and roadmap for a partner and shop network across fuel, maintenance, and other strategic spend categories. - Broaden coverage using both open-loop fleet specifications and direct settlement models. - Drive bulk fuel integrations that deepen in-network spend and partner value. - Lead international partnerships and champion adoption of next-generation payment technologies with merchants. - Originate first-of-a-kind partnerships with industry leaders, owning end-to-end relationships and executive contacts. - Run partner business reviews, tracking measurable outcomes such as in-network share and total payment volume. - Define requirements, success metrics, and product documentation while aligning Product, Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams.
Requirements - 8+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning large-scale partnership or platform initiatives. - Background developing and managing technical partner relationships; payments, fuel or merchant networks, or fintech experience is a strong plus. - Demonstrated success shipping commercially successful, integration-heavy products. - Data-driven mindset paired with strong customer empathy and executive-level communication skills. - Sufficient technical fluency to earn engineers' respect and navigate integrations end to end. - Comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits and work setup - United States compensation range of $180,000–$230,000 USD, with potential restricted stock units depending on role. - Health, pharmacy, optical, and dental benefits, paid time off, sick leave, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) contributions (subject to eligibility). - Some interviews or new-hire training sessions may be held in person at global offices.
