Staff Security Researcher

Role overview A staff-level research position dedicated to discovering, analyzing, and disclosing vulnerabilities that affect modern software ecosystems. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in Canada, Israel, the United Kingdom, or the United States, and it blends hands-on research with cross-team influence.

Responsibilities - Lead original research into new vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and mitigations. - Develop or refine tools, frameworks, and methodologies used by security researchers. - Conduct and publish deep technical analyses that inform product hardening and customer guidance. - Collaborate with engineering teams to translate findings into concrete defensive improvements. - Engage with the wider security community through responsible disclosure, talks, or written work.

Requirements - Senior experience in security research, vulnerability analysis, or offensive security. - Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages. - Demonstrated track record of original research, disclosures, or notable tooling. - Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to varied audiences.

Nice to have - Background in open-source or supply-chain security research. - Published research, CVEs, or conference presentations.
