Role overview
This Public Sector Solutions Architect role partners with U.S. government customers as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle. The position owns the technical evaluation process, leads proof-of-concept and proof-of-value work, and connects a modern software delivery and DevSecOps platform to measurable mission and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Engage public sector customers onsite and remotely, providing technical expertise through tailored demos, presentations, and hands-on workshops. - Collaborate with the sales team to shape and execute account strategies that drive adoption within government environments. - Own the technical evaluation, including proof-of-concept and proof-of-value design and delivery, tender and audit support, and technical input into proposals. - Lead the creation of customer success plans that capture technical success criteria and handoff details from pre-sales through deployment. - Build and deepen relationships with technical and business stakeholders so they become advocates within their organizations. - Serve as the internal customer advocate by channeling feedback to product, sales, marketing, and other teams to influence roadmap and messaging. - Run value stream assessments to identify opportunities for customers to improve software delivery.
Requirements
- Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology roles, ideally with U.S. public sector or federal customers, guiding them through evaluations and solution design. - Hands-on experience with a modern DevSecOps platform and related practices such as CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native development. - Experience with cloud computing platforms in regulated or security-conscious environments. - Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business or mission outcomes and advise senior stakeholders on tradeoffs. - Strong communication, demo delivery, and relationship-building skills, working closely with sales and cross-functional teams.
