Role overview A senior pre-sales solutions architect role supporting U.S. public sector customers across the Eastern region. The position partners with sales and cross-functional teams to help government agencies evaluate, validate, and adopt an integrated DevSecOps platform spanning the software development lifecycle. Success means translating mission outcomes into technical evaluations while acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the buying cycle.
Responsibilities - Lead technical engagements with government customers, including tailored demos, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops delivered both onsite and remotely - Partner with the regional sales team to shape account strategy, drive adoption, and support pursuits within federal and public sector environments - Own technical evaluations end-to-end, including proof of concept and proof of value design, tender and audit responses, and proposal input - Author Customer Success Plans that document success criteria and handoff details so deployments transition cleanly from sales into adoption - Build trusted-advisor relationships with technical and business stakeholders, cultivating internal champions across customer organizations - Channel customer insights back to product, marketing, and sales teams to inform roadmap and messaging decisions - Run Value Stream Assessments that surface concrete opportunities to improve software delivery performance
Requirements - Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or IT roles, ideally supporting U.S. public sector or federal customers through evaluations and solution design - Hands-on familiarity with an integrated DevSecOps platform and modern software delivery practices including CI/CD, automation, and secure development pipelines - Experience operating with cloud platforms inside regulated, security-conscious, or compliance-driven environments - Ability to connect technical recommendations to measurable business or mission outcomes and advise senior stakeholders on tradeoffs - Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, including comfort leading demos and value-focused conversations alongside sales - Comfort working asynchronously within a distributed team that shares knowledge through documentation-first practices
Nice to have - Experience contributing reusable demos, reference architectures, or technical assets that other solution engineers can leverage - Prior involvement in shaping product feedback loops between customers and product management - Existing network across U.S. federal or public sector technical communities
