Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview This contract, fully remote role is for a senior full stack engineer who owns end-to-end delivery of high-performance web applications, from data modeling through to the browser. The work centers on TypeScript across the stack, with React and Next.js powering the front end and carefully designed API contracts tying everything together. Depending on project fit, the focus may lean toward headless CMS and content publishing platforms or toward complex, stateful digital product builds.

Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end delivery of key product features, from concept and architecture through deployment. - Design data models and API contracts in TypeScript and build performant React/Next.js frontends that share a single type-safe layer. - Model relational and non-relational data, implement effective edge caching, and craft pixel-perfect accessible interfaces. - Identify bottlenecks across build processes, state management, or content modeling and ship improvements that raise team velocity. - Collaborate directly with designers and strategists to challenge assumptions and build solutions that serve both end users and developers. - Contribute to either a headless CMS/enterprise publishing practice or a digital product practice focused on real-time, API-driven applications.

Requirements - Senior-level fluency across the full stack, with confidence in both backend logic and polished front-end work. - Strong TypeScript skills spanning server and client, with a systems-thinking approach to data and component architecture. - Experience designing REST APIs, crafting caching strategies, and tuning front-end bundles for real-world performance. - Comfort working in a distributed, remote-first environment with multidisciplinary collaborators. - Proactive, ownership-driven problem-solving style, willing to prototype through ambiguity.

Nice to have - Headless CMS architecture experience or microservices background. - Familiarity with real-time functionality and end-to-end product feature development across web and mobile ecosystems.
