Senior AI Engineer

Role overview An engineering team building a global supply chain visibility platform is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to advance its growing portfolio of agentic AI products. The role focuses on data integrations spanning shippers and carriers, alongside active investment in support automation, voice, and onboarding agents that already handle a meaningful share of customer interactions. The work is approximately 75-80% backend and 20-25% frontend, partnering with distributed teams and major enterprise customers.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and productionize AI agents and workflows using agentic frameworks such as LangGraph - Develop and maintain backend services in Python plus Java or GoLang across the full software development lifecycle - Define data models and database schemas, and integrate backend APIs with the React-based frontend - Code-review peers, uphold quality standards, and debug production issues including live AI agent behavior - Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and operate services on Kubernetes infrastructure

Requirements - 5+ years of professional backend or software development experience with exposure to AI or agentic systems - Strong proficiency in Python and at least one of Java or GoLang - Two or more years of hands-on work with LangGraph or comparable agentic frameworks - Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB and front-end basics including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React - Working knowledge of Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, microservices, Git workflows, and Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence

Nice to have - Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider
