Role overview
Own the day-to-day health, security, governance, and usability of a Salesforce environment supporting sales, marketing, and business operations. This role combines platform administration, automation, data quality, reporting, integrations, stakeholder partnership, and user enablement in a fast-moving B2B setting. The opportunity is being developed for future hiring, with candidates considered in advance of an opening.
Responsibilities
- Administer users, permissions, security settings, workflows, Process Builder, and Flows. - Protect data integrity through deduplication, governance controls, audits, and consistent data-management practices. - Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that help teams make operational decisions. - Partner with business stakeholders to improve processes, streamline workflows, and increase platform adoption. - Coordinate system updates, releases, upgrades, third-party integrations, and troubleshooting across connected systems. - Provide responsive support through documentation, training, helpdesk assistance, and practical guidance for technical and non-technical users.
Requirements
- At least five years of Salesforce administration experience, preferably in a B2B environment. - An active Salesforce Certified Administrator credential. - Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce automation, especially Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules. - Experience managing data quality, reporting, security, governance, and system changes. - Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively across functions, and remain effective in a changing environment.
Nice to have
- Additional Salesforce certifications. - Experience in consulting, systems integration, or implementation services. - Familiarity with Analytics Studio, Tableau, or similar reporting tools. - Experience administering Salesforce integrations with external technologies.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote position for eligible candidates located in specified U.S. states or Washington, DC. - U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship and third-party/C2C arrangements are unavailable. - Estimated compensation range of $80,000–$100,000 USD, with potential incentive compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
