Robotics Applications Engineer

Role overview A hands-on applications engineering role turning customer requirements into working robotic deployments. The position configures humanoid and quadruped platforms, programmes behaviours, integrates payloads and supports demonstrations so that every trial and pilot shows something tangible and repeatable.

Responsibilities - Translate customer tasks into robot configurations, behaviour programmes and safety setups - Programme and tune humanoid and quadruped platforms for trials and pilots - Integrate payloads, sensors and site-specific systems onto robot platforms - Support customer demonstrations alongside field service and commercial colleagues - Document applications so successful pilots can be reproduced as standard products

Requirements - Background in robotics, mechatronics or software engineering - Practical experience with ROS or ROS 2, Python or C++ on real robotic hardware - Comfort working directly with customers and equally at ease in the lab and in the field

Nice to have - Experience integrating sensors and payloads onto mobile robot platforms - Familiarity with robot safety standards and trial or pilot delivery workflows
