Laravel Developer

Role overview Build and maintain the server side of a fleet management and tracking product, including the APIs, application rules, and database features that power its interfaces. You’ll develop new capabilities, improve performance, and help resolve issues reported by users and support teams.

Responsibilities - Develop Laravel features across the database and API layers. - Write and test maintainable code, and review teammates’ changes. - Investigate slow queries and pages, then improve their performance. - Diagnose and fix bugs reported by customers or support. - Coordinate with front-end and mobile developers on API needs.

Requirements - At least two years of PHP and Laravel development experience. - Practical MySQL skills, including joins, indexes, and query optimization. - Experience building REST APIs and implementing authentication. - Familiarity with Git and code review workflows. - Clear written English.

Nice to have - Experience with queues and scheduled tasks, such as Laravel Horizon or cron. - Exposure to mapping, GPS, or IoT data. - Familiarity with Docker and Linux servers.
