Senior Android Engineer

Role overview Build and improve native Android experiences that help people discover and access live events. You’ll work in a cross-functional product team, contributing from feature definition through implementation, testing, and release, with a focus on usability, performance, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver Android features in collaboration with product designers and mobile, frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers. - Evaluate implementation trade-offs and build solutions that can scale with product needs. - Take part in planning, design reviews, and other team working sessions. - Write and maintain tests, including unit, integration, and UI tests, and contribute to quality assurance. - Contribute to shared libraries and help improve application performance and scalability.

Requirements - Strong Android development skills with Kotlin, including modularization and Jetpack Compose. - Knowledge of mobile architecture, design patterns, and sound coding practices. - Experience writing mobile tests; Espresso is used, though comparable testing tools are relevant. - Understanding of REST APIs, API-first development, and OpenAPI specifications. - Professional proficiency in English and a practical, delivery-focused approach.

Nice to have - iOS development experience, including Swift, or comfort working across both mobile platforms. - Experience with high-traffic websites.
