Data Analyst III

Role overview

A senior analytics role embedded in a sportsbook product team, focused on turning data into insights that shape product development and user experience. The analyst partners closely with senior product stakeholders on testing, performance tracking, and recurring plus ad-hoc analyses.

Responsibilities

- Build deep familiarity with the sportsbook product and its role within the broader betting and gaming portfolio - Develop trusted relationships with internal product stakeholders and become a key voice in data-driven decision-making - Support the product team with testing, analysis, and reporting that informs product development and experience optimization - Deliver hands-on analyses on both a recurring schedule and on demand, presenting metrics and insights to stakeholders - Collaborate with fellow analysts and data scientists to solve business problems - Stay current on analytics tooling, methods, and trends in the sports betting and gaming industry

Requirements

- At least five years of experience in an analytics role - Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science - Strong SQL proficiency - Working knowledge of a statistical programming language such as R or Python - Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI - Solid understanding of statistics, including multivariate testing, and familiarity with code repositories such as GitHub - Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders, work in customer-focused and outcome-oriented ways, and operate comfortably in high-growth environments

Nice to have

- Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry - Hands-on experience with Amplitude

Benefits and work setup

- Base salary range of £52,000–£66,000 GBP, plus bonus potential for full-time employees - Interview and onboarding may include in-person or multi-day cultural immersion sessions, depending on role and location
