Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Role overview Embed with client teams to move AI systems from promising prototypes into real data environments, software stacks, and day-to-day operations. You will own the practical last mile: adapting systems to imperfect production conditions, coordinating rollout, driving adoption, and ensuring the result is handed over cleanly.

Responsibilities - Work alongside client teams to introduce AI systems into their actual production workflows. - Customize and integrate agents, models, and product components within each client’s data, systems, and operational constraints. - Diagnose the gap between sample data and production data, then adjust scope and implementation based on evidence. - Own deployment, rollout, user adoption, operational readiness, and transition to the client team. - Translate business needs into practical technical scope and explain technical limitations and trade-offs to decision-makers. - Balance delivery urgency with reliability, clearly identifying what can be simplified, deferred, or must not be compromised.

Requirements - Experience taking software or AI solutions from prototype toward production use. - Strong ability to work with unfamiliar data, systems, operational processes, and technical constraints. - Practical deployment and integration skills, with ownership extending beyond implementation to adoption and handover. - Excellent judgment under changing requirements, incomplete information, and time pressure. - Ability to communicate directly with both engineers and business or operations leaders. - Comfort acting as the connective layer between engineering teams, client users, and measurable business outcomes.
