Software Engineer II - Fulfillments Team

Role overview Build software for fulfillment and post-purchase servicing, including processes such as refunds, replacements, and reverse logistics. You will own features from design through production monitoring and work with product, design, operations, and engineering partners. The role includes building customer-facing applications and production AI features, with increasing independence in handling ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities - Design, build, deploy, release, and monitor end-to-end product features. - Develop scalable, event-driven services and single-page applications, including client and server state management. - Collaborate with designers to turn user experience goals into polished software. - Build, test, and monitor AI or agent-based features, considering their quality and safety in production. - Work with senior engineers and platform teams on system design, raising risks and tradeoffs early. - Identify and deliver improvements such as refactoring, observability, and platform upgrades. - Communicate with product, design, solutions, support, and engineering teams to align implementation with business needs.

Requirements - At least four years of full-stack software engineering experience. - Hands-on experience building production systems on AWS, including serverless applications. - Demonstrated experience shipping AI or large language model features to production. - Strong understanding of API design, versioning, idempotency, and backward compatibility, especially for event-driven workflows involving fulfillment or money movement. - Experience building production single-page apps with modern state management and collaborating closely with designers. - Sound data modeling skills and working knowledge of context engineering for agent-based features. - Daily use of AI developer tools, with willingness to share effective practices. - Clear communication, independent judgment, and ability to raise concerns and support recommendations with evidence.
