Technical Account Manager

Role overview This Technical Account Manager role serves as the dedicated technical advisor for a portfolio of enterprise security programs consuming a managed detection and response service. The position partners closely with Customer Success Managers, who lead the commercial relationship, while the TAM owns the technical depth, integration health, and incident coordination across each account.

Responsibilities - Drive platform adoption and technical health metrics across assigned accounts, ensuring customers fully leverage the managed security service. - Build deep technical relationships with security practitioners, architects, and technical leaders who shape integration decisions. - Advise customers on detection strategy, security program improvements, and additional value from their tooling investments. - Own technical incident response coordination during active security events, while Customer Success Managers handle executive communications. - Resolve integration and troubleshooting challenges by partnering with technical support, detection and response, engineering, and product teams; escalate complex issues to senior TAMs. - Identify technical expansion opportunities such as new integrations and broader coverage, and contribute content for quarterly business reviews.

Requirements - Five or more years of security industry experience, with the majority spent in consultative, customer-facing roles. - Deep technical expertise in at least two security product areas such as EDR, NDR, SIEM, cloud security, or IAM, including the associated detection strategies. - Background in customer-facing technical roles like solutions engineering, professional services, or technical consulting, with a grasp of enterprise security operations challenges. - Strong consultative skills that lead with listening, plus the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to audiences ranging from SOC analysts to security directors. - Authorization to work in the United States.
