About this role
Role overview A senior QA Engineer is needed to lead end-to-end testing of a regulatory reporting platform built on AxiomSL ControllerView, used by a major financial market operator for cross-border listings, trading workflows, and global compliance. The work centres on validating data flows, regulatory outputs, and platform configurations in a highly regulated capital markets environment. The role is remote and demands both hands-on test execution and close collaboration with analysts, configurators, and developers.
Responsibilities - Translate business requirements and ControllerView configurations into detailed test scenarios and test cases. - Design and execute testing strategies across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end cycles. - Validate complex data flows, aggregations, mappings, and reconciliation rules from source through to regulatory output. - Verify report outputs in formats such as XML, XBRL, and CSV, and confirm exception-management workflows. - Support user acceptance testing, log and track defects, and work with developers and analysts to drive resolution. - Check data lineage, metadata definitions, and data-governance controls against quality and auditability standards.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. - Senior-level experience in software quality assurance, with deep hands-on testing of AxiomSL ControllerView implementations. - Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks, compliance requirements, and localised reporting customisations. - Strong SQL skills and experience with backend, database, and ETL-style data-centric testing. - Working knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, or ALM. - Advanced English, strong analytical and debugging skills, and the ability to collaborate across QA, development, and business teams.
Nice to have - Experience with managed cloud regulatory platforms such as Nasdaq RegCloud. - Background validating capital markets platforms and multi-jurisdictional regulatory initiatives. - Prior work in highly regulated banking or financial services environments. - Exposure to ETL or data-testing automation tools and frameworks. - Intermediate Spanish proficiency.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work type with international project exposure. - Flexible engagement options including in-office, hybrid, or remote setups depending on location. - Medical healthcare, recognition programmes, and ongoing learning with reimbursement. - Well-being programme, team events, sports compensation, referral bonuses, and top-tier equipment.
