Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Role overview A high-growth vacation rental company is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Custom Development Team. The role focuses on building, innovating, and maintaining web applications that power exceptional experiences for property owners and guests in the travel industry.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain TypeScript-driven web applications using in-house and open source frameworks - Design and develop APIs using GraphQL and RESTful principles - Work with React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services - Perform code reviews, write technical documentation, and enforce JavaScript coding standards - Partner directly with Product Managers and Product Owners to clarify problems and deliver solutions - Build and maintain a shared component library to support scaling across projects - Guide and mentor less experienced developers

Requirements - 5+ years of experience developing web applications in React with strong JavaScript expertise - Experience designing robust, scalable APIs using GraphQL and RESTful principles - Familiarity with the Go language, frameworks, and libraries for service development - Experience with AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development - Comfort working with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines - Experience with Git and repository management in GitLab - Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress

Nice to have - A knack for debugging and building custom automation tools - Comfort working in fast-paced, high-performance environments

Benefits and work setup Salary range is $141,000 to $184,000 depending on experience, plus an annual variable bonus based on company and individual performance.
